Watching turtles and watching dugongs in the Umluj Islands

You will get used to seeing sea turtles in the Umluj Islands, as it is a common sight in the waters of the Umluj Islands. There are four famous types of sea turtles: the green turtle, the ridley turtle, the hawksbill turtle, and the head turtle. Usually turtles migrate long distances to search for food suitable for them, and female turtles use the island’s beaches to build nests in the white sand to lay their eggs during the night and after a period of time the turtles hatch at a later time and return to the sea.

As for dugongs, they are marine animals that are found abundantly in the shores of the Red Sea because they live in warm waters, and they are constantly looking for seagrass meadows in the shallow Arabian Gulf region such as mangrove channels and coastal islands.
